G-Dragon - That XX Music Video

Although he's my bias in the group, I have never been much of a fan of GD's solo work. Don't get me wrong, he's a great song writer, rapper, producer, and an amazing artist. He loves to go outside of the box with his music, but sometimes it doesn't hit the mark to me. I only liked a few tracks from Heartbreaker and skipped his solo parts on the GD&Top album. So when his second single That XX was released, I was preparing myself for the worst. But this song is perfect.
In this video GDragon plays the role of both the friend and the bad boyfriend. The friend is desperately trying to urge the girl that her boyfriend is no good, and isn't the guy she thinks he is. Yet, the girl doesn't listen to him and continues the relationship only to be hurt further. It's hard to figure out who is supposed to be who with the quick scenes. Since both the bad GD (heavily tattooed, accessory loving) and the good GD (turtle necks, and long sleeves) don't have much to distinguish the two apart. Even dying his hair or wearing a wig would have been a good way to tell the two apart. Other that that I love the visuals of the video! Really suits the mood of the song even though GD looks like a peeping Tom with all the keyhole spying he's doing. I'm looking forward to hear more tracks from the album, and hope that I'll enjoy them as much as I enjoyed these.
PS. The girl in the video is Jenny, a YG trainee who's supposed to be in a member of their labels new girl group.I can tell lots of endorsements will be going her way, and she may even replace Dara face.
