You'll never forget your first crush. It's was fourth grade, and I was new to the school. I don't remember how I fell for him, but I did. He was smart, tall, and cute. All the girls liked him, and I couldn't help but like him too. The one thing that was different about him than my later crushes was I actually talk to him. We've never held long conversations, but we talked.

My road to becoming a K-Pop (Korean Pop music) fan has been a long journey. If you would have told me 4 years ago that I would love K-pop music I would have laughed in disbelief.
I did have friends that listened to K-pop and J-Pop (Japanese Pop) music, which I thought was weird. I just couldn't wrap my head around the idea of listening to music not spoken in my native language. One day, a classmate from Thailand told me about a Thai artist named Punch. I thought about given it a try, because it wasn't K-pop, and I thought Thai music would be different. The song was a sad love song. The video was heartbreaking. In the video Punch's boyfriend cheats on her with her co- worker. I wish I could find the English translation of the video, but I can't. Maybe you will like it as much as I did.
I received this book for promotional purposes from Random House. All opinions are mine.
We were given an advanced copy of Amy Bloom's Lucky Us thanks to 20 something bloggers and Random House. I was getting really excited to read this book, since I had seen featured in a magazine I love. Plus, i haven't read a periodical fiction story in a while.

So you all have read my struggles with going abroad this summer and trying to raise money for my trip. I am here to announce that it is officially happening.
Thanks to my family, friends, and my last paycheck I was able to buy my ticket. So I am officially going to Korea this summer!

If you live in the Capital City, then the common saying "There's nothing to do in Montgomery" is usually true. But this past weekend was actually kind of eventful. Friday morning, Montgomerians including me, Shannah, and my family, headed downtown to join the Hidden Cash Montgomery Event. If you're not familiar with the hidden cash craze, it's basically a scavenger hunt for money in big cities around the nation. This event in Montgomery was started by Montgomery Biscuits owner Sherrie Myers and was based downtown. The clues to the locations were posted on the Hidden Cash Montgomery Twitter account, and players had to look to the clues to see where the hidden cash was.
It's a hard knock life for us. I'm almost 21 years old, and I still haven't found a job, except one. If only my resume can include all the jobs I've applied for then future job employers would be really impressed at the effort I put into looking for a job. So far, I had a total of seven job interviews in two years all not equaling a job. Right now, I'm feeling alone because it seems like all my Facebook friends to random Twitter followers have a job except me. It's time for me to throw a self pity party. Here are some signs and symptoms that I have from been unemployed for a long time.
What the hell was this?
