Eargasm: Neon Bunnies Down a Two Way Street

8:13 PM

I listen to a very wide range of music. Rock, ballad, country, pop, rap, r&b - you name it and I've probably listened to it. This month there have been two ladies that I've had on heavy rotation and I just couldn't help but share them with you all.

Kimbra

I'm forever thankful to my Facebook friend for sharing Kimbra's music on his Facebook page. Thanks to him I've fallen in love with her music and I can't get enough of her. So don't be surprised that I'm listening to her as I write this post. You may recognize Kimbra from Gotye’s Somebody that I used to Know video, but she is so much more than just a featured artist.
This New Zealand singer has a beautiful, soulful voice, which is no surprise that her musical inspirations are Ella Fitzerald and Nina Simone.  She’s quirky, she’s cute, and her music is so delectable. Kimbra's dancing skills aren’t that great. But it’s okay. It adds to her character. Her debut album "Vow" is currently available for purchase on iTunes. My favorites from the album so far include "Sally I can see you", "Good Intent", and "Two Way Street".

Neon Bunny

heard Neon Bunny's name thrown around in the Korean music blog world, and heard one of her songs before, but it wasn't until the release of "Oh My Prince" that I actually really listened to her. Now that I have, I love her! It's nice to get away from the usual K-pop into something new. The song itself is a techno/disco beat and her vocals are solid. This is a nice song to listen to on a steady day. I'm trying to get more into her music, mainly from her  album "Seoulight",so if you know any leave me a suggestion.  Either way, enjoy!

What do you think of the music from Kimbra and Neon Bunny? Have you had any songs get stuck in your head recently?
