Remember when I went on a rant about not finding a summer anthem? I was so upset about not finding the one perfect summer song that I settled for songs in the past. Well I spoken too soon because Sistar "Touch My Body," lifted me from my summer slump. When I first heard the song, I just knew I wouldn't like it, but then the song continued. I slowly started to fall for the song and the video.
If I weren't just getting home, I would have posted this hours ago. 2NE1 has released the video to their new single "Do You Love Me". If didn't get it the first time, I'll say it again. I LOVE this song! Everything about this is just so right. The ladies of 2NE1 also took a different approach with this song that I really like. The girls look like they're just having fun with their friends and I'm loving the filter they shot with. The choreography for this song is great as well. Check out both the music video and their live performance below.

I'm shocked that 4minute is still a group. Hyuna has been on her own lately, and I thought the group may have disbanded. But the group is still together and getting ready to bring us more music. Their latest video teaser ,"Is It Poppin?", sounds pretty good.
It's been a good while since we heard anything new from any of the members from 2NE1. The YG camp has been pretty busy promoting Psy and GD, while our favorite ladies from 2NE1 have been laying low. Now, YG has released a monster of a song from the group's fearless leader,CL , that is going to have fans abusing the replay button.

Auburn promised her followers that she would be expressing her creative freedom and releasing more music for her fans. Now, with just a week into the new year, she's keeping her promise. Auburn released this music video sneak peek of her new single "My Baby", and we're dying to hear more!
No word on an official release date, but we will be on the look out. Stay tuned to hear more from this talented lady, and subscribe to her YouTube channel if you haven't already!
Cassie is back! After being featured with the over-sized overrated so called Barbie Nicki Minaj on her song The Boyz, Cassie had to leave that childish ish behind and head to the desert to clear her mind. What's a girl to do in the desert but sing her lungs out while flipping through her mohawk hair to prevent dirt from touching it. Cassie is not my cup of tea, but some of you may like her song "End Of The Line". I would rate the song a 2 out of 5 stars. Not that it's bad, it just takes some time to grow on me. In the meantime enjoy the video.
It's very rare that I hear a song that sounded better than the original, but last night I found a cover of Rihanna's Diamonds that would have put her and her zealous Navy to shame. Meet Jade Novah, a beautiful songstress who has credentials as being a song writer to R&B favorites such as Melanie Fiona and Christina Milian among others. Novah has been trying her hand at being a solo artist and yesterday uploaded a cover of Rihanna's Diamonds. The video has only been up 48 hours, but has already reached over twelve thousand views on Novah's Youtube channel (more if you count the re uploads from other users), and the numbers are steadily growing.
Although he's my bias in the group, I have never been much of a fan of GD's solo work. Don't get me wrong, he's a great song writer, rapper, producer, and an amazing artist. He loves to go outside of the box with his music, but sometimes it doesn't hit the mark to me. I only liked a few tracks from Heartbreaker and skipped his solo parts on the GD&Top album. So when his second single That XX was released, I was preparing myself for the worst. But this song is perfect.
Justin Bieber seems hotter than ever. The Ellen clone pop star has recently released his latest video for his hot single "Boyfriend". The song is actually a pretty cool departure from Biebers usual dance floor hits like "Somebody to Love" and his ever popular "Baby".
I'm actually supposed to be writing a paper now, but I couldn't help but post this video! Girls' Generation new sub-unit TaeTiSeo is composed of members Taeyeon, Tiffany, and Seohyun. The group only released their single "Twinkle" April 28th, and it is already reaching the top of music charts in Korea and is in the top 10 chart for US iTunes!
There are many singers that are in the public eye, and sometimes we wonder how these people even became famous because some can't even sing. This artist that we are spotlighting will not have you questioning about her voice because this girl can SING! Her name is Tiffany Eugenio, and I first fell in love with her, with her cover of the late singer Aaliyah's song "Are You That Somebody."

It's great to see other female rappers besides Minaj making moves. Australian born rapper and songwriter Iggy Azalea has already been gathering up storm.
John Legend is showing his sexy suit, as many fans on Facebook and Youtube have been saying, with his new video "Tonight (Best You Ever Had)". The song will be featured in the new movie Think Like A Man which is based on Steve Harvey's book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. I really like the song and video. Ladies take a look at the new sexier John Legend:
About The SLS
The only thing we knew about college before we got there was what we saw on TV. Everybody was in a sorority, drunk, and it all looked easy and fun. TV lied. Finding our space, figuring everything out, and taking our first steps into adulthood were all things we had to deal with. We want to bring you our college experience -the good, the bad, and the ugly -and teach you what we're learning along the way. That's what the Students' Lifestyle is all about.
