Three Years Strong + Anniversary Giveaway! (CLOSED)
12:00 AM
Entertainment Hosh Posh. That was the name of our first blog. We had planned to write about everything -sports, music, and whatever else we wanted. It was only a temporary name that we quickly changed, then decided to name it after ourselves. The SLS blog- which was supposed to stand for our initials- The Shannah, LaTara, and S- blog, but S- had to let blogging go because school work was getting hectic. So Shannah and I decided to keep the url name and try to work out what The SLS was supposed to mean. The Sexy Ladies Series? No. The Sweet Leading Singles. Nope. The Swingers' Lifestyle. Taken. Kidding, even though this actually exists!
We're students. We'll talk about our lives. It worked. We were all over the place when we started, but eventually we found our groove.
Instead of just posting YouTube videos or talking about pop stars all the time, we got more comfortable with you. We started writing about our goals, our interests, our hopes, dreams, and relationships. We gave our advice on getting through crazy roommates, long distance relationships, and more. We're still getting the hang of this, but we're happy that you've been here along the way with us. We've made some great people thanks to our blog and are still meeting awesome people all the time. So today we want to celebrate our growth. We've made it to three years and hope that we can claim many more!
Since today is so special (especially since school is OVER!!!!) we teamed up with some amazing ladies of the Southern Girl Blogging Community to put together a giveaway to celebrate our 3 year anniversary! Check it out!
The Students' Lifestyle ....sure.
