Halloween is just 24 hours away and we're super excited to get the day started! I’m not really decided exactly what I’ll be doing tomorrow night, but if I have any say it’ll be rocking out in downtown San Diego’s night clubs. Unfortunately we haven't been able to find someone to relieve us of baby duty. We might just end watching a few films at home and eating passing out candy. Guess this is the start of domesticated life.

Fall is officially here and the new change of weather brings us new shows and returns of others. I was able to binge on a couple of premieres and returns last week thanks to Hulu, and wanted to share what I thought . Be warned, spoilers may appear in the upcoming summaries, so proceed with caution.

Scream Queens (Tuesday 9/8, FOX)

Someone described this show perfectly as a mix between Pretty Little Liars and American Horror Story. It revolves around a sorority that is being targeted by a devil mask wearing villain who is killing them off one by one. The two hour premiere featured celebs Ariana Grande and Nick Jonas, and has KeKe Palmer and Jamie Lee Curtis as regulars So with four of my faves in the premiere, you'd think I love the show right?

I know gladiators all across the world are rejoicing that the Scandal Season 4 premier will be airing tonight! There will be many questions that we hope will soon be answered, such as "where in the world is Olivia Pope"," how is Huck handling seeing his family again", and of course "will they ever kill off Quinn"? The cast has been quiet about the revelations of this season, but here are a few things that are guaranted to happen. Okay, maybe not guaranteed, but have a pretty high chance of happening. Check out my Predictions for this season below.

Harrison Will Die
After Columbus Short's family drama towards the ending of the season, he was axed from the show. Now we just want to know how does his character die. Most likely he's dying away in one of the holes by B6-13 or thrown in the ocean. We'll see soon.

Olitz Will Be Back On
 This is one of the most undeniable truths of this series. We know any butterflies Olivia had for Jake are gone, and her addiction to Fitz looks to be unbreakable. For some ungodly reason, these too are doomed to be dumb stuck in love forever. So even though I really hope Olivia finds a guy worth her time, I know she won't.

Daddy Pope's Gonna Do What he Does Best
Now that Fitz is back in office and Olivia is in a safe, undisclosed location, you can bet your gladiator suit that daddy Pope is going to do everything he can to keep Fitz in check. I'm pretty sure Fitz is going to be dumb enough to flex his powers again this season to get more info about Olivia. Believe me, the loss of Fitz Jr. wasn't the only revenge that Daddy has planned for Fitz.

I rarely have time to watch TV like I used to because of my hectic schedule. That's why I'm getting really picky on what shows I'm spending time watching now. Some shows that I included in my must watch list a while ago, are now in my trash list. I'll also show a few shows you can catch up on as well.

Outlander

This show is just what I needed to fill the hole Game of Thrones left me with. The story follows Kate, a nurse who is on her honeymoon with her husband after WWII ends and suddenly finds herself transported back to the 18th century through magic. Now she has to survive in her new setting and find her way back to her time.
Kate's personality is what I really like about this show. She's smart, fierce, and brave -aspects I look up to in my lead women. Her story is interesting as well-how the heck is she going to get back to her own time? And will she end up with one of the hot guys in her new century? Unless I get the book series, I'll be tuning every Saturday to Starz to find out.

Sam Smith is one of my favorite artists at the moment. I'm sad that his popularity is growing because I want to keep his genius to myself. I know I sound pretty selfish, but I think I deserve some brownie points for promoting him before he became known in America. His song "I'm Not the Only One" has so much soul in it. Maybe I've been watching the James Brown movie trailer too much, but that kind of soul goes in the Mr. Brown hall of fame. I swear I can see Beyonce' or Mary J. Blidge singing this song. Especially Sasha Fierce Beyonce.  I really like the chorus of the song the most. Enjoy it for yourself.


 

Happy Friday folks! I thought since it's Friday, and we're all happy for the weekend that I will do a music review of Hyuna's "Red." I'm not a fan of the song, but the video is a standout. I got to give it to Hyuna, she may have Popsicle songs, but her music videos are legendary.  She always knows how to make a music video that keeps us talking.  Side note* I want to to applaud her for improving her live performances. She seems more confident on stage then ever!

There 's another song that could be a summer anthem for some folks and that is Girl's Day "Darling." It's strange how the summer songs are coming out of no where in Korea. The video is bright and colorful much like Sistar's "Touch My Body." The big difference between the songs are Girl's Day 60's style music video. Although their clothes scream 60's, I really like their clothing. The video also takes me back to Secret's "Shy Boy" music video because of the 60's style.  The song is a pretty decent as well. It will take a while for me to really enjoy it, but I think a will. Only time will tell.  Until then judge the song yourself and tell me what you think in the comment section.

If you haven't already figured it out by now, I am in love with Game of Thrones. The constant plot twists, surprises (I haven't read the books), and great story line keep me tuning in every Sunday night to HBO. Even with my excitement to find out what happens in the warring world of Westeros, I haven't been too distracted not to notice all of the good looking men that GoT has given us. So I'm just going to this post from Shannah this time and list a few of my favorite characters from the show. I dedicate this Hottie on the Look Out post to the men of Game of Thrones. Enjoy :)

When I first saw the trailer for Divergent, I was not impressed. The trailer did not appeal to me because it left me confused about the general plot of the movie. It appeared similar to The Hunger Games, and I was not interested in watching a copycat movie. After scanning through the plot of Divergent on Wikipedia (I know it wasn't the best site), I decided to give  Divergent a chance.

If you read my posts on my Winter Favorites, you know I binge watched HBO's The Game of Thrones series and love it! Since season 4 is just around the corner, I decided to give you guys who haven't seen it a little push to watch the most epic TV series today. It took a lot of prodding from friends and folks on tumblr to get me to finally watch the show, but I'll just give you the main reasons I love the show that will make you want to watch it.
