The below post was written in March. At first I was thinking about deleting the post because my life has made a complete change since writing the post. However I decided that I will publish this because it may help other college students who maybe dealing with the same obstacles. As a college junior, I have many worries and anxieties that plague me....
There 's another song that could be a summer anthem for some folks and that is Girl's Day "Darling." It's strange how the summer songs are coming out of no where in Korea. The video is bright and colorful much like Sistar's "Touch My Body." The big difference between the songs are Girl's Day 60's style music video. Although their clothes scream 60's, I really like their clothing. The video also takes me back to Secret's "Shy Boy" music video because of the 60's style. The song is a pretty decent as well. It will take a while for me to really enjoy it, but I think a will. Only time will tell. Until then judge the song yourself and tell me what you think in the comment section.
If there was one moment that I could go back and prevent from happening, it would be sophomore year after Thanksgiving break. After unpacking clothes, I went into the bathroom only to notice there was less water in the toilet than usual. I decided to flush the toilet to make sure it was working properly. That was a huge mistake. The water began...
Have you ever made a post that never got to exactly where you wanted it, but couldn't bring yourself to delete it? I wrote this post before the last season of Scandal aired, and I honestly still feel the same way. So although it maybe a little late, here are my thoughts on Olivia Pope and President Fitzgerald. I love almost everything about Scandal....
Remember when I went on a rant about not finding a summer anthem? I was so upset about not finding the one perfect summer song that I settled for songs in the past. Well I spoken too soon because Sistar "Touch My Body," lifted me from my summer slump. When I first heard the song, I just knew I wouldn't like it, but then the song continued. I slowly started to fall for the song and the video.
When I first discovered Jessie Ware I wanted to blog about her instantly. The only problem, her song "Wildest Moments" was too old to do a blog spotlight on. So I had to wait patiently until she release newer music to talk about her awesomeness. Although I did feel special when I heard "Wildest Moments" play on Iyanla Fix My Life commercial and on Being Mary Jane. "Tough Love" is a sweet tune. I'm glad that she's sticking with the R&B sound because it really suits her. Jessie Ware will take you back to Sade. In fact I remember reading a comment saying she sounds like Sade 2.0. The beat of the song reminds me of a Prince 80's music production. The song will be feature on her sophomore album Tough Love.
Tell me your thoughts of the song in the comment section
Thirst sign: Going to the Extremes for a stranger This new epidemic of Thirst has ruined friendships and stopped a few great relationships from forming. People are scared to approach each other people for fear they'll be called thirsty by their friends, or love interest meaning people are too afraid to even make any move. It seems being thirsty is any action that...
This steamy heat is the perfect excuse to go dig into some cool sweet treats. Of course you can always stay inside and bury yourself in store bought ice cream, but if you ever find yourself out and about in Montgomery, here are a few places you can go to to cool down. Nancy's Italian Ice This is one of my favorite places...
The Master, me, Carina, and one of the student instructors I've always wanted to learn martial arts when I was a kid. I loved action movies and fighting games and wished I could be as strong and skilled as the characters I saw on my TV Screen. That's why I was under excited that UIP was going to be taking a Taekwondo class....
My friend Marysia invited me and my roommate out to see the Pine Forest and Ulgi Lighthouse* in Busan. We had thought it was going to be us three girls, with Marysia being the guide since she knows the most Korean. But two others joined us along the way and our real guide, Gunn, met us at the bus stop. The ride to...
I'm having a really hard time finding the one song to jam to all summer long. Last year my summer anthem was Disclosure ft Sam Smith "Latch." This summer I haven't been listening to music that much. If I had to pick a song that I enjoy this summer it would be Spica's "You Don't Love Me." Last Year's Summer Anthem I like...
Saturday morning was another exciting adventure in Ulsan. We met a student named MJ who is set to come to AUM for this upcoming school year. All the AUM students decided to meet her on Saturday and she took us out for lunch so we could get to know each other and prepare her for life in Montgomery. During the convo we ended...
My experience in South Korea has been pretty good so far. I've met some really great people and the locals are really nice. Besides the language, there haven't been many differences from back at home. But here are just a few of the minor things I've had to get adjusted to while here. The top right side is a form of kimchi Kimchi...
A picture of me from my 21st birthday, and yes that is Tara in the background she is a great photo bomber. I'm not trying to brag about my life at all. I simply wanted to do a post about the best moments I've experiences in life now that I'm 21. When I'm feeling down I can always count on the negative voices...
I am notorious in my circle for cutting ties with people. Not something to really be proud of, but I have learned that I don't have to put up with people's BS on the internet, and deleting unnecessary drama makes my life a lot more enjoyable. I've deleted family,"friends, and even my boyfriend before, so no one is really safe with me. If I have ever deleted you...
