Former Pussycat Doll Melody Thornton knows what it's like being in the background. Being over shadowed by lead singer Nichole Scherzinger, Thornton was hardly able to reveal her true talents. Now with the disbandment of the group, Thornton is ready to shine in her own light.

Her latest release P.O.Y.B.L. (Piss on Your Black Black List) is Melody's step toward the spotlight. The EP plays like a studio album with each track fitting perfectly with the others in a theme. Thornton sings her heart out while giving listeners her tales of love, betrayal, and perseverance. The rock/soul vibe from the album works perfectly with her voice.
