BTS on a Budget: Trendy, Affordable Fashion

2:43 PM

You want to go back to school looking great, but don't have a lot of cash to stretch.  You need style that's cute, functional, and budget friendly.Something that can work for the internship, class, and the dorm party this weekend.I totally get it. And that's why I want share some of my favorite places to find cute and inexpensive clothing with you. Some of them you may already know, while others will be new.
Missguided
MISSGUIDED
Want edgy, fashion forward clothes for your closet? Look no further than Missguided. This store from across the pond will bring you some of the sleekest, edgiest looks. Missguided offers great clothing that will turn heads and can function from the class to the club.

TJ Maxx/ Marshalls

TJ MAXX and Marshalls are the best places to go for brand names without spending the brand name prices. You can find designers like Michael Kors, Steve Madden, and more. Best of all, no one will know you paid anything less for it.

Payless fashions
Payless

Payless has been my go to source for filling my closet with cute, reasonably priced shoes. You can find everything from sandals, flats, boots, heels, and even a few handbags. Payless has great sales, and best of all, you can combine coupons with sales to get the best price.

Shop Miss A

How would you like to get all your accessories for just $1 each? If that's a yes, then this store is your new best friend. Shop Miss A is an online accessory shop that offers jewelry, makeup, and other accessories for only a dollar.Shop Miss A is a great place to stock up your jewelry box and try new styles. Shipping is just under four dollars. From my experience, the jewelry did not look cheap, shipping was quick, and most importantly nothing turned my ears green!

SheIn.com
She In is an online store (formerly she inside) that has a great selection of trendy clothing and most items are under $30. The site offers various styles from bohemian to office chic. According to their website, they offer free worldwide shipping and returns

Forever 21 & H&M

Honestly, what would this list be without these two titans in cheap clothing? Both H&M and Forever 21 Carry a wide selection of fashon forward, closet staples that every woman needs and their prices make it even easier to add lots of their clothing to your selection. I've found plenty of staples from H&M for just under $10 and these stores will be great to build both your party and your professional closet. Just try not to get too overwhelmed from the selections.

Ross

This is another great shop to find cute basics for great prices. Ross usually gets the extra merchandise from bigger retailers (I've seen some Kohl's brands before) and offers the same brands for a fraction of their competitors. The only problem with stores like this is the set up which require you to search through racks of clothes for the perfect item.

Thrift store

You can find lots of amazing clothes in thrift stores. The key to shopping here is patience and time. Browse through the racks for items that are free from tears, stains, and are still cute and trendy enough to add to your closet. And if you've got the skills, you can even grab a underwhelming item and turn it into gold like this blogger!

jcpenney fashion

JCPenney
JCPenney is one of those "mom" shops that kinda gets ignored a lot, but they're worth a second look. They have great pieces to shop for play and more professional looks. Their constant sales and coupons makes this a great place to shop without breaking your wallet. Be sure to shop during doorbusters, which usually happen Friday afternoon until Saturday morning. But no matter when you shop, always look online for a coupon before you check out.

Plato's closet

Plato's Closet is another store to find secondhand items. Unlike the thrift store, you can be sure that Plato's has a lot more up to date fashions and clothing from brands you'll love. Give them a peek next time you're out, and see if you can add anything cute to fill your closet.
yesstyle fashion

Yes Style

Yes Style is a website that offers you some of the trendiest Asian fashion brands online. Be sure to hit the $15 and under section for dresses, shirts, accessories, and more for fifteen bucks or less! They also have sets, which are one piece outfits that look like seperate layered looks. Great for those of us who want the style of layering without all the fuss. I would highly recommend taking your measurements before ordering to ensure the size and length fits for you.
