Lykke Li "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone" + Iggy Azalea "Fancy" Music Review

Lykke Li (pronounce lick -e lee)

*In the voice of older Rose from Titanic* It's been three years since her last album, and I still can remember the fresh sound of "Get Some" in my ears. The sadness is my boyfriend  lyrics that's never been  used before. The all black she wears in her performances, has never been worn as much before. Wounded Rhymes was called a sensational album, and it was. It really was.

I thought after Wounded Rhymes  I would never hear from my favorite indie artist Lykke Li again. I thought she was done with music and wanted to become a model or something. However, my favorite singer that at times depresses me because of her sorrow songs, is back. I literally fell out my chair when I saw the trailer for her new album I Never Learn.

Her song "Love Me Like I'm Not Made of Stone" is not only impressive by the long title, but it is a great song to listen to when you want to be loved by someone and afraid to open your heart. I do warn you that Lykke Li has an emotional tone that can bring the "Heartless" Kanye West to tears.  The song is raw and probably recorded with only one take.*In the voice of older Rose from Titanic* There was a woman named Lykke Li, and her music saved me in every way that a musician can be saved.

Iggy Azalea "Fancy"

I have a confession, but you have to promise me that you won't tell anyone. I've never seen Clueless before. Mean Girls has been the much talked about teenage girl movie that people forget that Clueless was the original. However, Iggy Azalea reminds us of Clueless in her "Fancy" music video.

The song "Fancy" is not too shabby. I wasn't expecting the Lorde look alike Charli XCX to be in it, but I like her featured vocals. Iggy will forever be my second favorite female rapper, at the moment CL from 2ne1 comes first, don't ask why. Overall, Iggy's released another great hit. I really hope this one gets airtime on radio stations.

*I know you all are wondering. Why haven't you done a review on 2ne1's latest album? Do not worry. I've listened to it for a week and will do a review of Crush next Tuesday*.
