First African American Kpop artist?!

In a recent interview with Hellkpop, US A&R executive producer Tyrone "Niddy" Buckner announced that his company has signed the first African-American female kpop artist in history.
Buckner confirms that he has signed Natalie "Pumashock" White to his label as a cover artist. Here's a snippet from the interview:
"My company, Billboard Entertainment Group LLC, has signed the first Female African American K-Pop artist in the world, commonly known as the Queen of K-Pop Covers. She is Pumashock (aka Natalie White) and Pumashock is amazing on every level. She has covered some of the hottest songs in K-Pop. She has millions and millions of views online. She’s the only African-American Female K-Pop cover artist to appear on the Korean television show Star King and others."
It's true that many KPop fans are familiar with White and her covers of hit songs such as Kara's "Step", Lee Hyori's "You Go Girl" and SNSD's "Gee" which the group actually viewed and praised. White has been trying to get into the Kpop industry for a few years now, auditioning for many Korean record companies including her latest appearance on MBC's Star Auditions in 2011.
Since then, White has keeping busy and is recently featured in a cover of SHINee's "Dream Girl" with DTMG, seen below.

The subject of Female Pop Artist has been covered intensively by the world press over the past decade. Many an afternoon has been enjoyed by a family, bonding over the discussion of Female Pop Artist. Until recently considered taboo amongst polite society, there are just not enough blues songs written about Female Pop Artist.s
