A new semester means a new beginning! I feel really motivated after my trip, and really want to start making some progress to my long standing goals. Here are some of things I am looking to accomplish this school year, but I'll be taking it one Semester at a time. Here are just a few of the things I'm planning to do this fall.
Internship Ready
One of the things I have been dying to do since starting college has been to get an internship. I'm currently a junior and know that having a little experience will really help me in my field once my post grad life begins. I'm working on getting my resume and cover letters ready to get a great gig sometime this year. I'll be heading over to the Career Development Center on campus to get as much advice as possible.

When I was in the fifth grade a group of girls told me a cool way to discover if a guy likes you back. The best part, I didn't have to asked the guy. All I needed to know was his first and last name. To this very day, I play this silly game to find out my "fate" with a crush. Unfortunately the results never ruled in my favor. It's a pretty fun game to play. I don't always believe the results, but sometimes I believe I'm doomed either ways. I thought it would be cool if I tell you the silly little elementary game I've been playing. Some of you may know the game.

You know that syllabus that the instructor gave you the first day? Dig it out of your bookbag and start adding in all the important test dates and essay deadlines. If you save it to your phone, set reminders a few days ahead of the big event to stay prepared.

I wanted to take part in the September Sapphire Even Day Blog Challenge hosted by Kimberly of Being a Word Smith. The blog series is filled with prompts that you can put on your blog every even day in September. I am not sure if I'll be able to do the whole month, but the first prompt really made me think so I wanted to catch up. So here's the first prompt: Five Reasons You Should Read The Students' Lifestyle.

Shannah and I are both juniors in college and have survived almost four years here, and we want to help you do the same! So when we give you advice on love, studying, or life in general, it's usually tips we've learned through our own experience. There are still a few things we still haven't figured out, but you can stick with us while we get it together!

I feel like we're hipsters sometimes because of all the artists we post about that suddenly go mainstream after we post about them. NO seriously, I mean it. Shannah wrote a post on Tinashe before her latest single "2 On" became a radio hit this year, we've been writing about kpop way before Gangnam Style took the radio waves by storm, and don't get Shannah started on Sam Smith. Seriously, don't. So when we say that there is an artist that you need to be listening to, then you should give them a try.

I rarely have time to watch TV like I used to because of my hectic schedule. That's why I'm getting really picky on what shows I'm spending time watching now. Some shows that I included in my must watch list a while ago, are now in my trash list. I'll also show a few shows you can catch up on as well.

This show is just what I needed to fill the hole Game of Thrones left me with. The story follows Kate, a nurse who is on her honeymoon with her husband after WWII ends and suddenly finds herself transported back to the 18th century through magic. Now she has to survive in her new setting and find her way back to her time.
Kate's personality is what I really like about this show. She's smart, fierce, and brave -aspects I look up to in my lead women. Her story is interesting as well-how the heck is she going to get back to her own time? And will she end up with one of the hot guys in her new century? Unless I get the book series, I'll be tuning every Saturday to Starz to find out.
