I Dated This Guy Once… by Toni Rae is a story detailing her life as a single woman. She tells her experiences of heartbreak from previous relationships and triumph with accepting her single status. The book is a great choice for women who are dealing with break-ups and coming to terms with the ups and downs of being single.

I love the movie, The Perks Of Being A Wallflower,  so much that I've chosen to read the book.  The book was written by Stephen Chbosky, who also wrote and directed the movie. The book was short, only 224 pages long, and it discusses the life of a 15-year-old boy named Charlie.

This past spring break I did absolutely nothing. I really wanted to hit the beach, but I didn't. To make matters worst, I constantly saw pictures of my friends on Facebook at PCB or New York. However, I did purchase and read a book during Spring Break. Waiting For You by Susane Colasanti is a fiction teen lit book that discusses love and waiting for it.

This summer I planned to kick back, relax, and catch up on some must needed reading that I neglected during the fall, but of course things never go how I plan them to. I ended up going to summer school, getting two jobs, and trying to balance it out with actually enjoying my "time off" and blogging. You can probably guess that I didn't get much reading done, but I was able to find one book this summer that made me neglect my homework on one too many nights. Though I wouldn't recommend procrastination to anyone,  Living Violet by Jaime Reed was well worth the hours.
