A Vice Principal Cries Over A Bruno Mars Song

11:00 AM

What could cause a vice principal to cry over a Bruno Mars song? Tara Dragon Hernandez, vice principal of Woodlake Elementary school in Louisiana, knows what.
Her ten month old son Grayson was diagnosed with neuroblatoma cancer, which is a rare childhood cancer that develops in the nerve tissue. Hernandez son has went through chemotherapy and surgery to remove the cancer. On the last day of school, as the vice principal attends an end of the school year ceremony she gets the surprise of her life. Eight hundred students begin to sing Bruno Mars song "Count On Me". Which had Ms. Hernandez in tears. The song talks about how a friend can be there for another friend in times of trouble. What a nice thing for the students to do for their vice principal.
